Thanks to their serious selfie potential (and superior skincare benefits), sheet masks have become one of the biggest K-Beauty exports. As any scroll of Instagram will show, people can't get enough of these hydrating cotton masks.

So much so that one Chinese restaurant in Canada's Montreal is tempting customers with the promise of a free sheet mask at the end of a meal. Forget finding out your fortune post noodles, at Chez Maxim Oriental you get glowing skin.

Our eagle-eyed friends at The Cut were the one to notice this madness, spotting a comment on Reddit’s Skincare Addiction board.

'The waiter at this Chinese restaurant gave me face masks with the bill and said my boss wanted me to have them,' reported user bugrug sharing a picture of their three sheet masks. 'Made my skin really nice this morning!' the user added.

And it appears this restaurant-goer's experience wasn't a lucky one off. According to reviews both on TripAdvisor and Yelp, the free sheet mask is routine at Chez Maxim Oriental.

'Tea is included and the owner gives ladies a face mask after the meal. Food is delicious. We love the shrimp in lobster sauce, the fried calamari and the Cantonese chow mein,' one happy customer commented.

Here's hoping Chez Maxim Oriental has a plan for international expansion...
