If there's one makeup artist all of Hollywood (not to mention, every magazine editor worth their salt) has on speed dial, it's Charlotte Tilbury. The makeup supremo has been THE artist the industry turn to when they want to seriously get their glam on - Charlotte's especially famed for her mesmerising eye makeup looks and soft, natural contouring. Charlotte did the makeup for a number of A Listers at this year's Golden Globes, using her own range, and was kind enough to take us behind the scenes on how she created the looks for Amal Alamuddin Clooney and Sienna Miller...

Amal Clo0ney

****1. Charlotte used her famous Magic Cream (£70.00), followed by some of her Wonderglow (£38.00) to give a beautiful soft veil of light to Amal's face, then applied Light Wonder Foundation in 7 Medium (£32.00) for a soft-focus effect. She then applied The Retoucher (£25.00) in shades 2 and 3 underneath her eyes, and added a swish of Airbrush Flawless Finish Skin Perfecting Micro-Powder in shade 2 Medium (£33.00) down the centre of her face.

  1. She then used her Brow Lift in Cara D, (£22.50) to sculpt the brow, then used the 'Pop' shade from her Dolce Vita Luxury Color Coded Eye Palette (£38.00) across the whole lid, then lined her eyes with Rock N Kohl Liquid Eye Pencil in Barbarella Brown, (£19.00). Then, Charlotte softened the look with The Classic Eyeliner in Sophia, (£16.00) and finished off with three coats of Full Fat Lashes Mascara (£22.00)

  2. As for cheeks, Charlotte sculpted with her Filmstar Bronze & Glow, (£49.00) and used Cheek To Cheek Blush in Love Glow and First Love (both £30.00). Finally, a mixture of K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick in Night Crimson (£23.00) and Matte Revolution Lipstick in Red Carpet Red (£23.00) was used alongside a Lip Cheat Lip Liner in Savage Rose (£16.00), gave Amal her starlet pout.

Sienna Miller

  1. Light Wonder Foundation in 6 Medium, (£32.00) was used on Sienna's face - but not before prepping with Magic Cream (£70.00) and Wonderglow (£38.00). The Retoucher in 2 Fair (£25.00) was used under the eyes, with shade 3 on the rest of Sienna's face. Then, a swoosh of Airbrush Flawless Finish Skin Perfecting Micro-Powder in 1 Fair and 2 Medium (£33.00) set everything in place.

  2. The Brow Lift in Grace K and Cara D (both £22.50) were used to frame the face. Then, the Classic Eye Powder Pencil in Audrey, (£19.00) was applied along thr lash line and down the lashes, with the Rock N Khol Liner in Barbarella Brown, (£19.00) over the lash line to add depth. Using her eye blender brush, she applied the 'enhance' shade from The Luxury Color Coded Eye Palette in The Sophisticate, (£38.00) to add definition in the sockets. The, the 'pop' shade was run along the top of the lash line to intensify and add definition. Then, Full Fat Lashes Mascara, (£22.00) was used heavily on the top lashes and lightly on the bottom ones.

  3. Then, the classic Filmstar Bronze & Glow (£49.00) was used to sculpt the cheekbones, temples and jawline, and the Beach Stick in Ibiza (£30.00) was used all over for colour, with the Beach Stick in Moonbeach (£30.00) to highlight the top of the cheeks. Then Lip Cheat Lip Liner in Iconic Nude (£16.00) and Matte Revolution Lipstick in Sexy Sienna (£23.00) mixed with some K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick in Nude Kate (£23.00) were combined for the perfect pout.
