Not to sound like Bridgerton's Lady Whistledown, but Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz's wedding this April was undoubtedly the event of the season. As a cavalcade of A-list guests - read: Eva Longoria, Serena Williams and half of the expected Spice Girls contingent - arrived at Nicola's father's famed Palm Beach compound in Malibu, crowds of paparazzi gathered and poked their lenses through the surrounding hedges, all trying desperately to get that first snap of the bride.
Nicola and Brooklyn signed their wedding photographs over to British Vogue exclusively, though avid scrollers didn't have to wait long before all was revealed - the shots dropped both online and on Instagram the very next day.
As for the hair and make-up, Nicola's longtime glam squad Adir Abergel - hair stylist to the A-list stars - and make-up artist Kate Lee were on duty. Kate has been tight-lipped as regards a full product rundown, but she did reveal to British Vogue that Chanel's Baume Essentiel highlighter was behind that bridal glow. Then there's the nails. Given that Nicola's entire bridal look was inspired by Claudia Schiffer, it's only fitting that her manicure possessed that 90s supermodel flair too. Nail artist Tom Bachik is on speed-dial for the likes of Jennifer Lopez and Selena Gomez, and gladly stepped up to the plate to lacquer on Nicola's all-important bridal manicure. He revealed the full look on his Instagram yesterday:
It's a 'custom blended 90s supermodel American mani', says Tom. The American mani was big in the early 00s, and involves softening the look of those classic white French manicure tips slightly, by adding an extra layer of pale pink varnish over the top of them.
Keen to emulate the look at your next salon appointment, screenshot the manicure and request a mix of CND Shellac in Beau and CND Shellac in Bouquet, the mix should replicate the hero shade of Nicola's wedding look to a tee.
