At £185 Has Harrods Just Launched The Most Luxurious Manicure In The UK?

One of the plus points to 2020 has to be that we've all learned the value of a healthy dose of 'me time', taking an extra moment or two to pamper yourself, whether that means lighting a candle and reading a book, affording yourself a two minute face massage when you apply your moisturiser, or even booking in for perhaps the most luxurious manicure that the UK has to offer. Where are you most likely to find a manicure like that in the UK? Harrods of course! Yes this week sees the launch of Townhouse at Harrods, the ultimate nail destination. Townhouse was already renowned as one of the top manicure hotspots in London and this brand new collaboration with Harrods seriously ups the luxe ante. How did the partnership come about? We were lucky enough to have one of Harrods' senior directors experience a treatment at our flagship store in Fitzrovia,' explains Townhouse founder Juanita Huber-Millet, 'and the rest is history!'

So what can we expect from this new manicure space and its treatment menu? 'Harrods is known worldwide for luxury and so this was at the forefront of our minds when designing our treatment menu,' explains Juanita, 'to encapsulate the spirit of Harrods we spent months designing two ultra luxurious treatments - The Manicure (a Harrods exclusive), and The Pedicure (a Harrods exclusive). These are the last word in indulgence and style featuring a carefully curated roster of our favourite products from around the world including skincare by Chantecaille, a scrub made from black volcanic rock and mother of pearl and some special luxury extras including a hot cream treatment and warming shoulder wrap. When having The Pedicure look out for the most relaxing and indulgent 20 minute massage using a beautiful Chantecaille Retinol Body Cream. Sitting back with a soothing eye mask and warming shoulder wrap on is absolute bliss!'

What To Expect From The Manicure, A Harrods Exclusive

The Manicure treatment features luxurious Chantecaille skincare products including Rose de Mai Body Oil and Retinol Body Treatment, as well as a black volcanic sand scrub enriched with mother of pearl. Steps include shaping, buffing, cuticle care, moisturising, a luxury hot cream treatment and an indulgent 20 minutes of massage. This is all supplemented by luxurious extras including an invigorating face mist, followed by rose gold eye mask and warm shoulder wrap (extras optional but all included in the package). This is all finished with a full colour consultation and your choice of a clear strengthening treatment, gel or polish, including our vegan range.
