In the realm of fashion, H&M has seriously ramped up its sartorial stakes this past year, launching new collaboration after new collaboration with big designer names (Simone Rocha, Desmond & Desmond, Sandra Mansour – to name just a few). Now, spicing things up over in beauty, H&M’s latest campaign for spring has landed. Named ‘Haute Blossom’, the high-street favourite has teamed up with editorial manicurist, Lauren Michelle Pires to create a series of nature inspired nail art designs and a capsule collection of vibrant polishes.
The designs I’ve created are inspired by nature (as we saw it) over lockdown...appreciating its beauty more than ever'
Renowned for her intricate nail art that’s featured in myriad magazines and ruled London Fashion Week, @laurenmichellepires inspiration for the nail looks came from a time when she couldn’t leave the house during lockdown. She explains the creative process behind the nail looks here:
‘Gazing at pastel hued sunsets from my bedroom window, making daisy chains in parks on our daily walk, receiving petal collages in the mail from my nieces, back to basic drawing as a form of meditation. The designs I’ve created are inspired by nature (as we saw it) over lockdown. Appreciating its beauty more than ever.’
The Collection
Spanning an array of pastel and vibrant hues, the nail polishes are the perfect pick for spring/summer. As for the formulation, it's vegan, plant-based and contains 75% naturally derived ingredients. Application is quick and easy and one coat is enough for a rich, seamless finish. For extra staying power, use alongside the Plant Based 3-in-1 Nail Polish.
