Not even an all-star FROW (hello, Kendall Jenner, Cara Delevingne, Alexa Chung) could distract us from artfully tousled vibe each model sauntering down the runway had at Topshop Unique. With every season that passes, we want to be their kinda girl even more - they always seem to nail the whole unfussy, naturally radiant, cool-girl vibe that we wish came in bottled. Plus, while eyebrows may have been initially raised at a high street brand showing at fashion week, they've more than earned their haute stripes with collection after collection of drool-worthy, seriously on-point gear. This season, alongside all the muted pastels and clean lines, the beauty look du jour was a country girl gone wild.

Topshop once again collaborated with face painter supremo Hannah Murray (who's worked on a handful of their shows ansd also consults on their makeup range - which is well worth a shout, by the way) to create a look Hannah described as ''These girls are refined beauties with a wild edge. Think Stella Tennant, Jean Campbell in the Highlands of Scotland - of good stock but inherently cool. You can imagine Bruce Weber photographing them and capturing their spirit; fresh, healthy windswept skin, freckles, handsome eyebrows, and wind-burnt lips. Not romantic and sweet, but handsome, well-bred beauties.' We say, it's a totally covetable, breezy look - think a fresh complexion, smattered with freckles and soft, kinky hair.

While this blueprint is pretty common at Topshop, we love how Murray and her team put a more wintery spin on things. The just-bitten lips and rosy cheeks reminded us of autumn's first flush, nipped by the cold but not totally frozen. The hair, too, had a matte texture to it that lends itself well to the chill of autumn and winter, rather than any glossy, slick, summery strands. Hannah's excelled too when it comes to sculpting - each girl's cheekbones were defined without looking painted on. We thinks Topshop Make Up's new Contour Creams (£9.00) may have been at play - Hannah also said she used Topshop's Cheeky Jelly in Museum, (£7.00) and Lipstick in Mink, (£9.00) to create those 'wind-burnt' lips.

Our eagle-eyed beauty editor was backstage, and captured the following video where you can see each girl's getting ready for the show. Stylists used a mixture of tongs to create deep, loose waves and texturised with a little hairspray - one to try this weekend, we think. See for yourself below...
