I have always been wary of so-called illuminating beauty products. On the rare times I have tried them, I have been left with unwanted greying or glitter fall-out. However, there is one illuminator that has caught my eye. Over the past few months, the Saie Glowy Super Gel has flooded my TikTok For You page, and I couldn't resist trying it to see if it lived up to the hype. This time, the results were different.

The formula is lightweight and surprisingly hydrating, leaving skin looking radiant and dewy. Since I first tried it, I've used it almost every day to add a healthy glow to bare skin or as a base before make-up. I love mixing it with my Saie foundation for a sheer, radiant look and I'll even add a touch to my cheekbones if I'm feeling extra. This product truly comes alive when the light hits – I’m kicking myself for waiting so long to try it.

Saie Glowy Super Gel Under Foundation:

Beyond it's glow-enhancing properties, the Glowy Super Gel offers real skincare benefits. The formula is packed with nourishing ingredients that work wonders on your skin. The Saie Fatty Acid Complex, a blend of Glycerin and Squalane, mimics your skin’s natural oils, locking in moisture and keeping it supple. Papaya Seed Oil helps to brighten and even out skin tone, while Rosehip Oil smooths and hydrates, leaving your skin feeling soft and healthy.

The best part? You can achieve a flawless 'no make-up make-up' look by simply applying a coat of SPF and then a touch of the gel. I also love to swipe it across my collarbones, shoulders, and even my legs for a touch of shimmer. Now, there’s a brand new shade to obsess over: Rose Glow. This perfect champagne-y hue is ideal for bringing those summer vibes; it lends a touch of warmth and shimmer that flatters most skin tones.

My favourite shade has to be Sunglow, perfect for deep complexions. It makes the skin look healthy, and glowing from within. Minus the grease.

Pros

  • Buildable
  • Watery texture
