Last London Fashion Week in February we interrupted the usual schedule of backstage beauty reports and trend spotting to bring you news that Rihanna had inked a deal to create a make-up collection with M?A?C Cosmetics. Joining the likes of Lady Gaga, Nicky Minaj and Iris Apfel, RiRi added 'beauty guru' to her ever-growing list of accolades with the release of RiRi Woo - an updated version of M?A?C's beloved Ruby Woo lipstick renamed in the singer's honour.
At the time Rihanna told WWD, “When you think of makeup, the brand that pops into your mind — for something legit — is MAC. Whatever colour you want, it’s like ‘Let’s go to M?A?C.’ I’ve been using M?A?C on tour for such a long time it was a natural fit for me. I have always loved makeup, and I always said that if I do it, I want to do it with a credible brand.”

Now the self-appointed 'Ghetto Goth' of pop is preparing to launch her latest M?A?C goodies available from M?A?C counters this October. The RIRI ? M?A?C Autumn Winter 2013 collection includes a palette encased in rose gold packaging, lipsticks in deep raisin, orange frost, creamy nude and vivid red, smoky cocoa eye shades, highlighters, diamond cream colour base and powder blush in 'Bad Girl Gone Good'. No blue lipsticks as yet, watch this space.
