It’s no surprise that so many of this world-famous makeup artist’s eponymous beauty collections sell out faster than you can say PAT McGRATH LABS, and now we’ve got another way of getting our hands on them.
Always a revolutionary, the beauty industry veteran has teamed up with Spotify and her latest muse Maggie Lindermann to reshape the way we buy our cosmetics. Available today, McGrath’s coveted products can be bought through Lindermann’s Spotify page, where the music artist is launching her latest song ‘So Obsessed’ to celebrate the partnership. Based on the brand’s message ‘USE WITHOUT CAUTION’, this lethal combination allows shoppers to load up a shopping basket with McGrath’s creations and listen to their favourite tunes all in one tab.
You’ll be able to score Mothership palettes one, two and three, the Black and Blitz Brown Eye Pencils and the Deep Void and Suburbia Lip Pencils, alongside three new and Spotify exclusive LiquiLUST lipsticks. The bold, retro glamour inspired lipsticks are available in Nightshade, Possessed and Revolution Red.
The woman behind this season’s statement looks at Versace, Prada and Gucci told Grazia why she chose to work with Lindermann on this project: 'Maggie is an incredibly intriguing new artist and a captivating beauty. She is a modern version of a certain type of retro beauty, injecting today with her captivating spark. When I discovered that she was a LABS lover, it felt truly meant to be. A beautiful entry into a new and unexplored collaboration between beauty and music.'
But why Spotify? McGrath explains: 'I founded PAT McGRATH LABS in 2015 on the foundation that social media is a primary creative platform for self-expression. Music, as well, is at the core of what personally inspires me, and when you combine that with my profound desire to disrupt the beauty marketplace and engage with my fellow beauty addicts in fresh and unexpected ways, Spotify felt like a natural fit.'
