Exciting news luxury beauty fans: discount designer site The Outnet is set to start selling makeup and skincare.

Net-a-Porter's discount offshot isn't launching beauty per se, but a selection of beauty sets that will be landing ahead of Christmas shopping season in October.

The offers come from 18 niche and cult brands including Lipstick Queen, Eyeko and By Terry. There'll also be exclusives created especially by 111 Skin, Aurelia and Sarah Chapman skincare.

So now for the numbers: each of the beauty sets will include several full-size, current season products at an average of 20-30% off the usual retail price. Ie. you'll be getting great discounts on the newest beauty must-haves, some of which also sell over on Net-a-Porter for full price. To give you an idea of what you'll be able to get your hands on: the super luxe 111 Skin Space Anti-Aging Combo includes a Space Anti-Age day cream and Space Anti-Age night renewal cream, both in 50ml.

Andres Sosa, Director of Global Sales & Marketing at The Outnet, who's leading the new beauty sale, says the decision comes due to popular demand, following feedback from 10,000 customers. “For the holiday season, providing our audience with exclusive beauty sets works extremely well – they’re an easy gift for someone special and also as a treat to indulge yourself,” he explains.
