Those well-versed in fake tan will be aware of the common perils - stained fingers, patchy elbows, streaks, you get the picture. While these can be avoided with a well chosen product and thought-through skin prep, there's one threat that always looms large - stained bed sheets. Hit the hay too soon after a fake tanning session and you'll likely wake to find an orange silhouette of yourself stamped beneath you. There seemed little hope of a solution until now.

High street retailer, Next, came to our aid recently with an ingenious £20 bed sheet that is specifically designed to protect your linen from fake tan transfer.

TikTok quickly picked up on this clever new beauty buy and it's already going viral:

The sheet is designed to lie between your mattress and your duvet, creating a pouch that you slip straight into. There's even a fold-over section that covers the edge of your duvet, meaning that if you sleep with your arm over the side, your fake tan's guide colour will still only stain the sheet protector - inspired.

The TikTok hype saw these fake tan bed sheet protectors fly off the shelves when they first launched, but we're pleased to report that they're finally back in stock. Shop the hero buy below:
