As the potential future wife of Diana’s youngest son it was only time before people started to make the inevitable comparisons between Meghan Markle and the late Princess.
First up, it has been revealed that Meghan and Diana share a similar taste when it comes to their choice in makeup artist. Yep, for Markle’s tell-all interview with Vanity Fair she chose Princess Diana’s favourite makeup master, the one and only Mary Greenwell.
The red carpet choice for the likes of Cate Blanchett, Jessica Chastain, Sienna Miller and more, Greenwell is famed for painting the faces of the ‘supers’ including Christy Turlington, Linda Evangelista and Cindy Crawford and a thirty year career creating editorials for countless top publications.
Greenwell took to Instagram to share the exciting news of her latest royal client writing it was ‘such a lovely day.’

On the twentieth anniversary of Diana’s death Greenwell wrote a touching post about working with the Princess. ‘It is twenty years today since the untimely death of #PrincesDiana I am so blessed to have spent so much time with this extraordinary lady who helped change the attitude to #HIV among other things.
