We can always rely on Burberry Prorsum to deliver at fashion week – when it comes to the clothing of course but the make-up and show itself are equally as impressive. The Autumn Winter 2014 show didn't disappoint, with the inspiration for the collection being The Bloomsbury Girls, a nod to the female members of The Bloomsbury Group who were an association of artists, writers and intellectuals from the early 20th century, headed by influential figures such as Virginia Woolf. How fabulous!

The outcome of this was a rather adventurous collection for Christopher Bailey, with stunning silk crepe dresses clinched in at the waist and oversized shawls stitched with each models’ initials – here’s to hoping ours will arrive any minute now... The make-up at the show was equally as dreamy: healthy glowing complexions complete with a hint of blush, soft plum eyes and clean pink lips.

Although some of the make-up from the show is already available, the rest of the collection comes out this August and we can’t wait. We’re particularly enamoured with the two eye palettes – while the slate blue is perfect for creating a shimmering, smokey eye we’re most looking forward to playing around with the nude blush, as those lovely aubergine shades are the same shadows used by Wendy Rowe at the Prorsum show.

Other than the palettes (which we’re using to transform ourselves into supermodels), the bottle green and antique gold polishes will add a bit of a life and colour to any simple outfit. Bright nails are our go-to secret weapon this Autumn…
