But heartbreak and disappointment aside, there's one person that can always be trusted to delight and that's Maya Jama. Particularly when it comes to her make-up looks. Since her debut season first aired Maya has become a reliable source of feel-good glam amid all the on-screen drama and her monochromatic mauve moment last night may have been her best make-up move yet.
Strutting into the villa for 'Judgement Day' wearing a fiery two-piece by LaQuan Smith, Maya's make-up featured big fluttery flashes, pigmented siren eye style winged liner and her signature all-over glow – a Love Island beautyhallmark for anyone who passes through those villa doors. The star of this monochrome make-up look was undoubtedly the lipstick, which erred on the mauve side of nude.
Over on Instagram, Maya's go-to make-up artist Letitia Sophia (the genius behind last night's glam) revealed that she had been inundated with messages asking her to reveal which lipstick she used. Putting her followers out of their misery, Letitia shared Charlotte Tilbury's The Super Nudes Matte Revolution Lipstick in Supermodel, £27, on her Instagram stories, explaining 'Lots of comments about this lipstick... it's finally back in stock! Get it before it's gone!'
