Forget Christmas, it's Star Wars Day soon! (And by that, we mean the actual film in cinemas, not May 4th). If you grew up watch Princess Leia & co kick ass and have been patiently waiting for another instalment all these years, then we're sure the movie event of the year will eclipse your festive excitement.

You might be thinking that your enjoyment of the film might be limited to over-priced merchandise and packed cinemas, but there's a beauty angle to work here.

Along time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, there was a collaboration of galactic proportions. No, we're not talking about Kim Kardashian's internet-breaking Paper Magazine cover - we're talking about Max Factor teaming up with Star Wars.

To celebrate the much-awaited release of Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens, Max Factor's Global Creative Design Director, Pat McGrath has created some cosmically-cool looks - the all-softness-and-light 'Droid' look, and the more subversive, space-age 'Stormtrooper' look.

Like the film, the two looks show the conflicting powers of light and dark - although, admittedly, both of them would attract some raised eyebrows if worn anywhere on this planet. The limited edition Max Factor x Stars Wars products go on sale December 11th - so fastest finger first.

Pat told us "Metallics are popular again this season and fit perfectly with the film. Take some risks and have fun with a gold or silver lip look!". Well, it's that or the Princess Leia buns, right?

The girls at Ann Demeulemeester had a sheer, glossy eye with a metallic finish in the inner corners. Chic and understated - we love.

Well, it is party season after all. If you can't go all out then, when can you? Make like the Creatures of The Wind girls with some high-octane glitter.
