When it comes to collaborations of mammoth proportions, MAC is the brand to beat. From Wonder Woman back in 2011, to Proenza Schouler in 2014, oh yeah, and the time RiRi re-designed the iconic Ruby Woo red lip shade… the list could go on. Seriously, it could.

And this September, MAC is going intergalactic with an other worldly new offering, namely a 25 piece collaboration with Star Trek, inspired by the shows cast of powerful female characters: Commander Deanna Troi, Uhura, Vira Orion Girl and Seven of Nine.

The amped up girl power collection consists of 25 pieces, covering everything from base products to lip tints and eye shadows.

‘Star Trek is an iconic pop culture phenomena whose storylines pushed gender and racial boundaries,’explains M∙A∙C Creative Director James Gager.

‘For its 50th anniversary, we celebrate each of Star Trek's powerful women in a transcending, transformational makeup collection’, and we literally can’t think of a better fit.

The full collection will be available globally from September, but word to the wise - we recommend putting in a diary alert now as it’s obviously going to be a sell out.
