London Fashion Week is an internationally recognised event, but it remains mainly shut off from the public. While some tickets are available for a few shows this season, the majority of guests are members of the press, buyers, celebrities and influencers, for whom fashion week is one of the main events on their calendars. But for all of the beauty fans out there, tomorrow marks the start of a brand-new event that is, in fact, open to the public: London Beauty Week.

The inaugural event will run from 11-15 September and, happily, every event is open to the public. It does mean you'll need to be in London during those dates, but there's plenty going on to draw you to the capital.

Everything is happening around Covent Garden, which will become a beauty hub for the five-day event. There will be an interactive Beauty Playground, for one, which is free to attend and will include various experiences provided by the likes of Weleda Skin Food, Molton Brown and Floral Street Fragrances. Then, there will be a series of panel discussions covering everything from sustainability to men's role in the beauty industry. These will be conducted by a host of experts, such as Charlie Howard (Model, Author and Activist), Anna Marie Solowij (Beauty Journalist & Co Founder of @BeautyMARTUK) and Jasmine Hemsley (Author and Co Founder of Hemsley & Hemsley).

As if that wasn't enough, some of your favourite brands will be offering lovely experiences for you to enjoy. Jo Malone and Tom Ford, for example. are both hosting masterclasses with cocktails, while Glossybox is hosting the ultimate beauty treasure hunt.

London Beauty Week will also be working with its charity partner, Beauty Banks, which was co-founded by Sali Hughes and Jo Jones. The non-profit organisation provides women, men and young people in need with essential toiletries, fashion products and “the little luxuries in life.” Visitors will be invited to drop off unused beauty products at the London Beauty Week hub on the East Piazza in Covent Garden to be donated to the cause. Monetary donations from the ticket price of all London Beauty Week events will also be donated to Beauty Banks.

Tickets for the panel discussions are £10 (with all proceeds going to Beauty Banks) and can be purchased here right now.

To book your free place at Jo Malone's masterclass on Saturday 14 September from 12pm until 5pm, either visit the store or call 0370 192 5274.
