Look Inside Lily Allen’s Make Up Bag! She Reveals Her Must-Have Beauty Products

Lily Allen is a self-confessed beauty obsessive. When we spoke to Lilylast month about her nail range and daughters following in her footsteps, she talked us through her must have products.

Lily Allen knows her stuff, she does her own make up when on tour telling us: 'I like to sit in my dressing room for a couple of hours before the show. I have my ear monitors in and do my vocal warm ups and do my make up - it's kind of calming to get ready and do that.' She has palettes of MAC concealers and lipsticks which she uses on tour and loves to organise her make up kit. "When I get home that’s my thing that I like to do is clean out all my make up – get the glitter out of the powder and stuff."

If she had just five minutes to get ready Lily said: 'I don’t really like wearing foundation in the day. I’d do my eyebrows first probably, shape them and pluck them, and then I would do a little bit of blush and the sculpting thing and then finish off with just a bit on concealer wherever I need it and then blend and eyelash curlers and mascara.'

Ever wondered how she creates such a perfect eyeliner flick? 'If I am wearing fake ones I’ll put my lashes on first,' she revealed. 'I look in the mirror and tilt my head, follow the lash with the white liner but also kind of go backwards and up so then I have a line to guide the black. I start in the middle keep as close to the lash as humanly possible and just follow the white line up. Then I'll dip cotton buds in eye make up remover to tidy it up." Her top tip? "Approach it calmly and try not to think about it too much. Remember they’re sisters, not twins, your eyes!"
