J. Law fans rejoice - she's gone and bagged herself another stonking contract. The face of Dior's 'Miss Dior' bags since 2013, she and the fashion house are now even further linked, as she's just been announced as the face of their Dior Addict lipsticks.
She's joining Natalie Portman, who's also on Dior's beauty roster in campaigns for Miss Dior fragrances and DiorSkin foundations. Which means we'll not be seeing Jennifer wearing anything other than Dior for a while on the red carpet...
In the one image Dior have released so far, Jennifer's working her now-signature beauty look: coiffed up hair with fluffy flyaways around the face, and a radiant, barely-there complexion. Of course, as it's a cosmetics campaign she is wearing more makeup than in her bag adverts, sporting a silvery eye, and well-groomed brows, yet it's still an incredibly fresh and natural look, befitting the brand.
Our Beauty & Health Director, Liz Hambleton, was talking to Dior's Make-Up's Creative Director Peter Phillips among the campaign, who told her "Jennifer is such a handsome, modern beauty, she's such a wonderful fresh face to work with", adding that Jennifer's more than just a pretty face; "Jennifer was very involved in the process, and chose the lip shade she was wearing herself. She knew the look she wanted."
Dior Addict lipsticks have a whopping shade range, so we’re crossing our fingers for a bolder look at one point – perhaps a statement red pout or a bold, bright coral. We love Jennifer as a super-natural beauty, yet we do crave a little more drama from time to time. After all, one of our favourite Jennifer looks was basically all of her 70s-tastic ‘American Hustle’ get ups.
