Iris Law has been revealed as Burberry Beauty’s new global ambassador, and stars in the brand’s new campaign for Liquid Lip Velvet, a new matte cream lip colour.
This marks the first major global campaign for the 16-year-old daughter of Jude Law and Sadie Frost, who has previously appeared in Teen Vogue and worked with fashion brand Illustrated People. The campaign images were shot by Angelo Pennetta in London, with make up by the brand’s Make-Up Artistic Consultant, Wendy Rowe.
‘The Burberry Liquid Lip Velvet campaign is my first ever advertising campaign and so I was really excited about the shoot and starring in it,’ Iris said. ‘Burberry is such an iconic British brand.’
As a new face of Burberry, Iris is echoing the career of her godmother, Kate Moss, who is a close friend of her mother Sadie. ‘It’s a real honour for me to be part of the Burberry family now and follow in the footsteps of women like Kate [Moss], Cara [Delevingne] and Lily [James.]’
In a first for the brand, Burberry will also be launching a dedicated Tumblr page, presenting the campaign as a mood board and featuring exclusive campaign imagery of Iris shot on set.
Burberry’s Liquid Lip Velvet appeared in one shade, Fawn Rose, at the brand’s September catwalk show, but from 16th January will be available in 13 further colours, priced at £26.’It’s a fantastic matte lip colour you can build it up to create a bold matte finish but it still feels incredibly comfortable and lightweight on the lips,’ Wendy Rowe explains.
