The office Christmas party is something that we look forward to every year. As well as the early workday finish and getting to kick off the start of the Xmas festivities, we always look forward to dressing up and donning our very best festive makeup looks.

This year, there's two slick styles we'll be showcasing - the Classic Christmas Makeup Look and the All Out Glitter, using products from Boots. And while half of the women in your office will be trying to squeeze into the ladies toilets to get ready, you can create these easy-to-do looks at your desk - now that's what we call party prep convenience...

This classic Christmas look is one that you'll wear again and again, from the office Christmas party to Boxing Day. You can thank us later...

Step 1: Exfoliate your lips using the e.l.f. Lip Exfoliator from Boots to remove any dry patches and prep them for lipstick.

Step 2: Using a flat foundation brush, apply the Max Factor Radiant Lift Foundation to your face to even out your complexion and enhance your glow.

Step 3: Taking a small flat brush, use the IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer to cover any blemishes. You can also use this high-coverage, blendable product to conceal any dark under eye areas - it truly works wonders.

Step 4: Moving onto eyes: apply the shade S2 - a gorgeous nude shimmer - from the Smashbox Full Exposure Palette all over the your eyelids and across the top of your cheekbones for a natural glow. Then use shade S2, which is an ultra shimmery hue, on the middle of your lids to add an extra pop. In the inner corners of your eyes, use shade S3 to highlight and accentuate. Finish by using a flat liner brush to pack the matte shade M7 along your lash line to add some definition.

Step 5: Go over your lash line with the NYX Foil Play Cream Pigment in French Macaron to add extra depth to your eyes - and a bit of drama. After all, it isn't Christmas without some sparkle.

Step 6: If you have any gaps in your eyebrows, fill them in with the Benefit Gimmie Brow from Boots. This clever product contains tiny microfibers that will adhere to your skin and hairs to create a natural-looking fullness and definition.

Step 7: Add a generous coating of the Boot's No7 Lash Extender Mascara in Black to your lashes to lengthen and darken them.

Step 8: Time for contour: use the medium or dark shades from the Sleek Makeup Cream Contour Kit to add dimension to your face. Apply these darker shades to your temples and below your cheekbones with a small, clean blusher brush.

Step 9: Line your lips with the Maybelline Colour Sensational Lip Liner in Brick Red, and then colour in your entire lips with this liner too, for extra lasting power. Then, top up your colour with the intensely pigmented Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Couture The Slim Lipstick in Shade 1. Perfect your pout by blotting your lips with a tissue.

Step 10: Dust some of the IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Pressed Powder in Translucent down your T-zone to control any oily areas.

Step 11: Set your makeup with the Lancome Setting Spray from Boots to help it last all night long. Et voilà - you're ready to party!

All Out Glitter

It just doesn't quite feel like Christmas without a bit of glitter, does it? As this festive look is all about the eyes, you'll want to go nude with everything else...

Step 1: Exfoliate your lips using the e.l.f. Lip Exfoliator from Boots to remove any dry skin and prep them for lipstick.

Step 2: Using either a foundation brush or your fingers, work the Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer into your skin to create the perfect base for your makeup.

Step 3: Seeing as this look is focused on the eyes, you can skip using foundation so your face doesn't look too heavy. Instead, look to the Maybelline Eraser Eye Concealer to conceal any blemishes and even out your skin tone.

Step 4: Time to create the showstoppers: start by curling your eyelashes to open and lift your eyes. Then take the Wet n Wild Colour Eyeshadow Quads in Walking on Egg Shells to create your eyeshadow base. Apply the 'transition' shade all over your lid and blend it into your crease. Then dab the pink 'base' shade on top the lid and into the inner corner of your eyes for a pretty glow. Blending is key, so pull the eye colour out towards your temples with a soft eyeshadow blender brush.

Step 5: Now for some glitter. Swipe the Rimmel Wonder Swipe Instafamous Eyeliner in the mid-centre and inner corner of your eyes and pat it down with a clean eyeshadow brush until you've achieved a shimmering finish.

Step 6: Swipe the Smashbox Always On Liquid Liner from Boots along your upper lash line, then create a little 'v' by take it into the inner corners of your lower lash line.

Step 7: More is more when it comes to Christmas makeup. So apply a very generous dose of three coats of Lancome Monsieur Big Mascara in Black on your upper lashes, and one coat on your lower lashes. Then, retouch any of your makeup that you might have disrupted with the Maybelline Eraser Eye Concealer.

Step 8: Softly sculpt under your cheekbones and around the temples with the IT Cosmetics You Sculpted! Contouring Palette. You can create a bespoke contouring shade that's just right for your skin tone by mixing the medium and darker shades.

Step 9: Dust the iridescent Benefit Dandelion Twinkle Highlighter Face Powder from Boots onto the top of your cheekbones, across your temples and above your cupids bow to illuminate the high points of your face.

Step 10: If your brows need grooming, brush them up with an eyebrow brush.

Step 11: Keep your lips simple and understated with the help of the lush Bourjois Velvet Edition in Café Ole.

Step 12: Set your makeup with the Loreal Paris Infalliable Fixing Mist from Boots for a look that won't budge, even while you dance the night away.
