A Maleficent make-up tutorial

Summer's all well and good with the bright sunshine and beach days, but secretly, we can't help but be excited by pumpkin spice and crisp Autumn mornings.

That's not to mention the most fun holiday of the year - Halloween. (We're still working on that petition to get it recognised as a proper national holiday, by the way.)

If you're the kind of girl who really commits to Halloween and has everything planned well in advance (and we mean full face paint, costume-that-took-weeks commitment), we salute you.

But, if you could use a little inspiration, we've rounded up the best tutorials on YouTube to get your creative juices flowing. Even if you can't master these looks - and we don't blame you, there's a lot of brushes involved - we promise they are all well worth a watch just for gawping purposes.

1. Black Swan make-up tutorial
