Straight off the back of her New Year selfie, Rihanna has got our attention again with the launch of Fenty Beauty's FIRST mascara. This is big. Huge. Meet Fenty Beauty's Full Frontal Volume Lift & Curl Mascara, £21, which will be available to buy in the UK on 16 January. Rihanna is well-known for her super full set of lashes, and the masses will be more than delighted to learn that this new addition to the Fenty Beauty line is aimed at enabling you to emulate them. Oh and the campaign shot is pretty banging.
The formula is lightweight, and the colour, ultra black - there's no messing around with this one. The light texture means that you can build up your lash look layer by layer from a barely-there boost, to diva levels of length and volume, without incurring a single clump. Boy does this tick boxes.
The brush is pretty fancy too. One side is flat, so that you can use it in the same way you would do a comb, to separate lashes and define them. The other side is chunky, and the one to use for for loading on the formula and upping the volume. Pro tip? For maximum volume make sure the fat side of the brush is fully loaded and layer up until you hit on your desired look. For maximum curl power, use the flat side of the brush to push up lashes while coating them from root to tip. And finally, for the ultimate boost in length, use the pointed tip of the brush and apply your mascara vertically, focusing on your lash ends.
