The favourite part of my beauty routine is in the final step - that all important slick of lipstick. It's the pièce de résistance of my regime, the finishing touch that ties my look together, and it brings me such joy. Like many a beauty aficionado, it was always Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk that I consistently reached for - it's still the brand's best-selling shade thanks to its universally flattering pink-meets-nude hue. It's a bona fide beauty icon, so it's fair to say it takes something truly special to make me consider something new. Of course, if anything was going to sway me it would be a new offering from Charlotte Tilbury herself - I swear by those creamy, buttery formulas. Enter the Charlotte Tilbury K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick in Naughty Talk, my new everyday lip shade.

One reviewer said: 'I LOVE the Pillow Talk collection, however I’ve always thought their lipsticks were a little TOO pink… and now we have this! It’s a lovely nude-toned version of Pillow Talk and it looks absolutely gorgeous, with or without a full face of makeup. I think this might just be my favourite lipstick so far!'
Pros
- Feels silky on lips
- Bullet is luxurious
Cons
- Needs regular reapplication

Rachael Martin beauty editor says:
'I'm a Pillow Talk fiend - it's the shade I come back to time and time again. And yet Naughty Talk may have just pipped it to the post. The colour is a neutral nude-toned pink that feels like the perfect your-lips-but-better hue. It's slightly cooler than Pillow Talk, and it works beautifully on all skin tones.

'The pigment is sheer, but buildable, making it a versatile lipstick. For 'no make-up days' I apply a quick slick for a little definition and when I'm after more 'oomph' I swipe on multiple generous layers. While I'm a huge Pillow Talk fan (have I mentioned this?) the OG can dry down on my notoriously dehydrated lips. Not this one, though. Naughty Talk is made with a hefty hit of antioxidant rich bixa orellana (better known in beauty circles as the lipstick tree) which leaves lips feeling soft, hydrated and glossy. It's also formulated with a clever type of wax which prevents the colour from bleeding outside the lip line. And as someone who often forgeos liner in the name of sheer laziness, this is music to my ears. My only gripe is it's not as long-lasting as I like - I find myself regularly topping up to maintain the colour, but that's often part and parcel of wearing a more hydrating lipstick - there tends to be more slip. In my opinion, though, it's a small price to pray when the finish is such a pretty one. Charlotte Tilbury does it again.'
