From Urban Decay to Anastasia Beverly Hills, the Internet has a borderline unhealthy obsession with eyeshadow palettes.
The latest to send social media into meltdown comes courtesy of Charlotte Tilbury. She began teasing her limited-edition Instant Eye Palette via Instagram over the past few weeks, and to say fans were excited would be a big understatement.
Housed in a luxurious 1920s style rose gold ‘suitcase’ box, the palette contains twelve brand new shades designed to create four different looks.
‘Day Eye’ (shimmering neutrals), ‘Desk Eye’ (a mix of peachy shades), ‘Date Eye’ (everything for a chocolate brown smokey eye), and ‘Disco Eye’ (a dark, rock chick look).

Whether you stick to the these or mix and match as you please, the idea is that the palette has all you need to create an endless array of looks - as Charlotte calls it, ‘your complete eye makeup wardrobe.’ Priced at £60, it certainly doesn’t come cheap, but with options for practical every eventuality, we reckon the cost per wear value works out as worth it.
A limited number of palettes are currently available on CharlotteTilbury.com but for those without the interweb or read this when they (inevitably) sell out online - panic not - for the precious palettes will be landing in a bricks and mortar store near you on the 11th October.
