Chanel have managed to make the impossible possible with their darling new campaign to celebrate the arrival of Chance Eau Vive (£55.00). The new scent features a blended grapefruit and blood orange accord with jasmine and white musk at the base to create a light, playful scent that revitalises and refreshes.
In a short film by Jean Paul Goude, a frequent collaborator with the house of Chanel, a crew of insouciant French babes (made up of models of the moment Rianne Van Rompaey, Sigrid Agren, Cindy Bruna, Romy Schonberger) take to the lanes - but with a twist. Instead of lugging around bowling balls, they bowl with the round bottles of Chance Eau Vive. Bowling for once becomes very, very chic.
Wanting to create a short that celebrated female friendship, as well as the strong-willed woman, Goude has created an utterly delightful piece that is sure to bring a smile to your face. The film reflects the fragrance, which puts a spin on the classic feminine Chanel Chance with its youthful, zesty note.
Created by star perfumer Olivier Polge with Chanel's Fragrance Laboratory, it's the latest addition to the Chance fragrance line up and has gone straight to the top of our lust list. The fragrance is available nationwide from Friday June 12th - if you're hesitating about purchasing, take heed of Chanel's words, 'If chance won't come to you, you must find chance'...
