Keen to wear a confidence-boosting bold lip? Cast your eyes over the new additions to NARS' classic Rouge A Levres, £22 each. the poppy tones of Inappropriate Red err on the pretty side of scarlet, while the metallic sheen of Cool It is a perfect match for a bronzed eye.

YSL Beauty Sexy Tomboy Eye Palette, £44.50, offers up six shades of shadow which can be blended to create anything from a block tan base to a deep, warm fade of chestnut tones. Add a Kate Moss-esque dose of black kohl and you're on to a winner.

A foundation needs to be pretty special to consider switching for, and Milk Makeup Flex Foundation Stick, £32, is exactly that. Dior's latest collection of Diorific Nail Polishes, £22.50 each, boasts a couple of hot-stuff shades that we cant get enough of - namely Charm and Passion. Black is back, and it's chicer than ever. Why? Because Chanel is in charge. A few coats of Le Vernis Longwear Nail Colour in Pure Black, £22, offers up a glossy look that we're coining the LBM (Little Black Mani).
