While sun-kissed, glowing skin always ranks high on our beauty wish list, it’s much better (and safer) to forgo basking in the sun IRL and mimic the effects with one of these glow-getters. Retailer John Lewis reports that 'getting the glow' currently takes centre stage with sales of bronzer up 51% and highlighter up an impressive 73%. To faux your glow, take inspiration from the Spring/Summer'21 runway, where the models' complexions looked dewy and naturally bronzed. And for our pick of the ultimate glow-boosters, scroll on down.
At Eudon Choi (pictured below), terracotta tones were applied across the cheekbones and down the bridge of the nose - basically adding bronzer to where the sun would naturally hit. For the models at Erdem, global artistry director at Nars, Jane Richardson layered Orgasm Liquid Blush, £26, and Exhibit A Blush, £26, across and down the cheeks to create a sophisticated spin on sun-kissed. 'As we were shooting outside, it was very important that the girls look ethereal and dewy,' Richardson told Vogue on the look.
