A two-in-one formula for that just-got-back-from-holiday glow.

Blonzing

It's officially the year of the blush and the rules are simple: more is more, product placement is vital and experimentation is half the fun. Creams, corals, cold girl - whatever your method, blush is a non-negotiable for achieving that coveted glow.

Evolving from the viral 'Aperol blush', it's time to become acquainted with its older, slightly more demure cousin - blonzing. It's the latest blush trend to sweep BeautyTok (and our cheekbones) cleverly utilising the ultimate rouge-to-gold ratio in a single product - no bronzer necessary.

Essentially, it's the TikTok-approved cheat code for summery make-up and handily also saves both money and space in your make-up bag. Win-win.

Blonzer, though technically a blush, is encouraged to be used in the usual places you would apply bronzer, paying attention to the cheekbones, temples, jawline and bridge of the nose. And unlike the rosy 'Boyfriend blush' trend, blonzers skew golden, mimicking that covetable just-got-back-from-holiday hue.

The term 'blonzing' went viral when TikToker, @vanessanicolestern realised she was 'today years old' after discovering a term for her go-to blush technique and told fans that she currently relies on Haus Lab's Blush in Fire Moon, £28 for the perfect terracotta flush.

Keep scrolling to discover a bounty of blonzers that will add ample warmth to your complexion.

Packed with fermented arnica, plant squalene and shea butter, this powder blush is surprisingly hydrating and the shade 'Fire Moon' comes TikTok-approved.

The Rhode Beauty Pocket Blush melts like butter and gives ample colour payoff. The brand's best-selling 'Toasted Teddy' shade is the easiest blonzing hack.

Blame it on TikTok, but MAC's 'Gingerly' has already sold out in many retailers after being hailed the perfect blonze, but we've found it on sale at House of Fraser.

For an affordable alternative to Rhode's 'Toasted Teddy', Makeup Revolution's Mauve hue will quickly add a flash of warmth to your cheeks and lips.

For the ultimate complexion enhancer, the much-loved Dior Rosy Glow also comes in this blonzing-friendly shade.

Merit Beauty is known for its lit-within blush formulas and 'Fox' is a flattering warm taupe shade which will give you a bronze-meets-blush finish.

Finally, you can't go wrong with the cult-favourite Nars blush for a natural and healthy flush and this hue is sublime.
