"I keep quite an edited stash at home but the products that are always in my bathroom cabinet are as follows; cleansers from Nude, I’m a big fan of their Perfect Cleanse Nourishing Oil (£28.00, Space NK) and Perfect Cleanse Omega Cleansing Jelly (£32.00, Space NK). Once a week, I’ll use his Lancer’s The Method: Polish (£60.00, Space NK) which is amazing and follow it with a Sudocrem (£2.99) face mask which works wonders on stressed or sensitive skin days. I also have a passion for anything by Environ – you can see their AVST 3 Moisturiser (£36.00, www.iiaa.eu) which I swear by and also the Colostrum Gel, (£32.00) which is great for calming inflamed skin. At the weekends I swap my Environ for Sisley Black Rose Precious Face Oil (£136.00, Sisley) which is a divine treat and also give my eyes a treatment with Sisley Sisley Supremÿa Yeux At Night, (£175.00, Sisley). Crème De La Mer fans will have spotted the amazing The Reparative Body Lotion (£125.00, Crème de la Mer) - such an indulgence I know - but this really does work wonders. I also pop a little Tom Ford Neroli Portofino Body Lotion (£42.00, House of Fraser) on in the morning to remind me of warmer days."

"I have just moved house and only a tight edit of bathroom essentials relocated with me: the can’t-leave-them-behinds. I can spend hours getting wrinkly fingers in the bath so oils/salts/milks/teabags – you name it – are dissolved in to the water daily, but for indulgence it’s always Aromatherapy Associates Inner Strength (£40.00, Space NK) and Jo Malone Lime, Basil And Mandarin Bath Oil or Red Roses Bath Oil (£40.00 each, Jo Malone). When it comes to my skin I don’t have just one Achilles’ heel, I have several. As a result my routine is super simple: a layer of Shiseido Ultimune Power Infusing Concentrate (£60.00, House of Fraser) followed by Skinceuticals Resveratrol B E (£120.00, Skinceuticals), which is usually hydrating enough, but if I need something extra I press Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+ (£30.00, counters nationwide) onto the skin around my cheeks which gets especially dry. While I’d love to wash n’ go my hair needs a little help. I rely on Bumble & bumble City Swept Finish, (£21.50, Bumble & bumble) to transform post-blow dry fluff into cool, choppy pieces and as the week wears on I eke out my blow-dry by blasting oily roots with Tresemme Instant Refresh Radiance Dry Shampoo (£5.25, Boots). As a brunette, dry shampoos have always left me with a powdery Miss Havisham head of hair but this is clear and doesn’t make my scalp itch. My new bathroom needs lacks any ambience (we’ve yet to decorate it) but if I spritz of T London Room Spray in Darjeeling (£19.95 www.t-london.com), a subtly blended tea inspired scent, and close my eyes I’m mentally transported to a happy place where the DIY is all done."

"Everyone is always surprised at how few beauty and makeup products at home, but I like to keep things minimal so I don’t overwhelm my skin or flood my flat with products. One thing that never changes is my favourite scent – So Oud Ouris, (£120, Avery Perfume Gallery). A softly spoken blend of Jasmine, White cedar, Almond, Iris butter, Vanilla, Sandal and Tonka, it smells to me like clean skin should. I don’t know anyone else who wears it which I like as well. In the morning my skin tends to be very dehydrated, so I layer my skincare in the time between showering and applying makeup. First comes a couple of minutes of facial massage with the brand new and seriously amazing Sarah Chapman Morning Facial, (£45.00, Space NK) and afterwards a dose of Crème de la Mer The Moisturising Gel Cream, (£105.00, Crème de la Mer). The transition from summer to winter is tricky one for skin and can leave faces sensitive, dry and breakout-prone. When this happens I rely on Avene Cleanance Soapless Gel Cleanser (£11.00, Boots), which does a great job of clearing up spots. Nude Detox Brightening Fizzy Powder Wash, (£38.00, Space NK) meanwhile, has just launched and sloughs away dry skin cells leaving a far healthier glow and smells delicious too. Oooh and I will never be without my Aesop Reverence Aromatique Hand Wash, (£27.00, Aesop) too – Isn’t the packaging the best?"

"I’m not a haircare monogamist – in fact, I’m a total commitaphobe and can’t attach myself to one brand for too long. That being said, I do love the Windle & Moodie Nourishing Treatment Shampoo (Windle & Moodie, £16.50) and Conditioner (Windle & Moodie, £18.00) which leave my hair super soft and are paraben-free. I love me a good scrub, and Cheeky’s Bright As A Button Dry Body Buff (£10.00, Cheeky) is pretty hardcore but does the job. I’m using Aurelia’s Firm & Revitalise Dry Body Oil (£48.00, Aurelia) and Bliss’s Vanilla + Bergamot Body Butter (£22.00, Bliss) to ward off dry winter skin, and I’m also obsessed with Aurelia’s Refine And Polish Miracle Balm (£57.00, Aurelia) which I whack on in the shower twice a week (or once, when I remember) and enjoy really glowy skin the next day. Finally, Cowshed’s Moody Cow Balancing Bath & Shower Gel (£16.00, Cowshed) – presented without comment."
We appreciate a healthy curiosity here at Grazia. There's always a part of us that wants to peek into other people's shopping carts, make up bags or purses just to see what everyone else carries around. (And to reassure us that's normal to have a bag full of Kirby grips, balled-up reciepts and half-used lip balm). So, we decided to appease that side of the brain and let you in our most sacred place: the bathroom cabinet. The place where all our favourite products are squirrelled away, and we perform our twice-daily cleanse-scrub-moisturise routines.
If you've ever wanted to see what makes the real final cut (aka the products we actually take home and use, and keep coming back for more of), then look no further. We've opened up our bathroom cabinets to show you the goodies that stock our personal stashes, and while we love luxe, there's some real bargains to be had in here too. Industry faves like Crème de la Mer and Sisley meet with new contenders like Cowshed and Tresemmé for a truly eclectic mix, only showing how beauty-mad we all are and how we love to try everything.
As our complexions range from combination through to dry, we know all your skin woes and have a few insider hints and tips that could help. Or, if you're looking for some new pampering products, or something to make shower time more exciting, this could be for you. With every skin type catered for, there's something for everyone...
