Marc Jacobs is known for his quirky designs (both in beauty and fashion), his monopoly on cute iPhone cases and probably being one of the most copied men in the business. From his blockbuster fragrances like Daisy and Lola that other brands rush to try and recreate to his covetable bags, everyone wants a piece of the MJ empire. Well now Marc's got another feather in his cap - the brand have just announced Adriana Lima as the brand new face of their soon-to-launched fragrance, Decadence.
The casting of Adriana, who's best known for her work with super sultry lingerie giants Victoria's Secret, is something of a surprising choice for Marc Jacobs. But, the perfume is called 'Decadence' rather than anything too pretty and floral, so casting an Amazonian beauty does make sense.
Maybe this explains Adriana's new 'do, too - she stepped out with a blunt, short fringe at the Met Gala on Monday night, which is a sharp departure from her usual undone, beachy vibe. And, Marc sure does love a fringe. The models at his Spring/Summer 2015 show (which included Kendall Jenner and Adriana herself) wore blunt bob wigs, complete with full fringes, so maybe Adriana had the fringe cut for the campaign? Or to signal her commitment to team MJ? Only time will tell, as the fragrance lands in September.
