I'm not ashamed to say that Rosie Huntington-Whiteley influences my purchases on the regular. From her minimalistic wardrobe to her make-up must-haves, Rosie always looks chic and polished without being too try-hard. Over on beauty, her signature look is always on point – dewy skin loaded with balmy highlighter, a dusky rose lip and more often than not, a soft taupe eyeshadow.
In the past, she’s highlighted on her Instagram feed several beauty staples that she turns to time and time again including the Hourglass Unlocked Instant Extensions Mascara, £29, and Summer Friday’s Lip Butter Balm, £19.50. And, just recently, she shared on YouTube the six haircare heroes she calls upon to maintain her silky strands. Quick to tune in, we were intrigued (ok, desperate) to find out exactly what she applies to those lengths to achieve that glossy finish.
Honey-toned with warm balayage highlights, Rosie’s hair is likely subject to damaging dye – yet it remains shiny and smooth. And, as someone who has their hair bleached every two months (pre lockdown), achieving the above is no mean feat. So, what exactly does Rosie use to strengthen her strands?
First up, there's Christophe Robin's Purifying Salt Scrub, £40, which Rosie admits is great for when you've had lots of styling products in your hair as the scrub will just remove any product build up. It's a very impressive (and expensive) line-up that will set you back just over £200. BUT, if you're in the market for a shine-boosting, damage-repairing haircare hero - investing in one of the above products is definitely a good place to start.
