One Amazon reviewer said: 'This is worth every penny as the quality is superior. This is super silent. Nothing flimsy about this as well and it is surprisingly light weight, perfect for my small hands. The 32mm gives tight curls (I have asian thick black hair), better for short to medium length hair (or crown and front hair, if you have layers like me). For long hair, the 38mm could be a better choice for faster results. The heat settings offer good control and the styling lasted me days. Heats up in seconds and the retractable bristles really helped in retaining the curl as it just slides down from the wand, undisturbed, while it cools - my hair didn't get tangled at all. Overall Love it! Of course, please use a good quality heat protectant as this gets HOT, I personally use Tresemme. This suited my pocket so I would recommend.'
Pros
- Light
- Quiet
Cons
- Can get hot - be sure to douse hair with heat protectant
What does the Revamp Volume And Wave Ceramic Hot Brush do?
Create a beautifully smooth, voluminous blow-out, that's what. Dinky enough to create enhanced volume at the root, yet wide enough to craft full, bouncy curls, the Revamp heat brush has reached viral status for a reason. A smooth, salon-worthy finish is a given thanks to ionic technology - this prevents water from entering into the hair shaft, ultimately aiding a smooth, frizz-free look. The ceramic is also infused with keratin, argan and coconut oils, coating hair with a glossy layer that lasts all day. And bonus points for the retractable bristles which rule out any possibility of snagging or tangling. Those concerned about hair damage may breathe a sigh of relief, too. There's adjustable heat settings that allow you to tailor the heat levels to your own unique hair type.

Rachael Martin, beauty editor:
'Swayed by Elle, I was thrilled to get my hand on the Revamp brush after it finally came back into stock. And I'm already impressed. It's easy to create volume at the roots via a combination of tension and heat. I'll hold it in place for around 3 seconds, before pulling the brush through my lengths and ends in one deft, twisting motion to create a big, bouncy blow-out. If you're after those gorgeously flicky, '90s supermodel-esque ends, then this is the tool for you. I will say it does get hot (even with the temperature control) so I never scrimp on the heat protectant. Overall? Would recommend.'
