Pixie Lott’s Major Hair Transformation Was Inspired By One Of Our Favourite 90’s TV Stars

Hair salons are finally open and the influx of clients returning for cut and colour appointments is still at an all-time high post 'Super Saturday'. Many left their beloved salon with a brand new hair transformation (scroll through the best celebrity lockdown hair transformations right here) and singing sensation, Pixie Lott was one such hair salon visitor, taking swiftly to Instagram to reveal a total hair colour revamp.

Famed for her previously platinum shade of blonde, Pixie's hair colour transformation is a big deal. Pixie's selfie showcased a glossy new golden, multi-tonal shade of blonde rippled through with darker caramel tones as well as eye-catching sections of lighter blonde. The hair colourist responsible for this new blonde take (dubbed 'undone blonde') was Harriet Muldoon of Larry King Hair in London. Pixie's new look might seem like an out-of-the-blue move to many but to both Harriet and Pixie her new 'undone blonde' was a long time coming and took inspiration from a certain Jennifer Aniston.

Pixie's Take

'I've been wanting to do this for ages. Harriet and I kept sending reference pictures back and forth to eachother but it was never the right time. I couldn't wait to get back to Larry's salon. My roots were growing out and we finally had enough time. Our ultimate inspiration was Rachel from Friends and harriet got it just right. She used products that were kind to my hair as well as a hair mask so it feels really healthy. To anyone out there that's debating whether or not to try the 'undone blonde' look - do it!'

Harriet's Take

'The 'undone blonde' look I created for Pixie was all about hair health and well-being. The 'undone blonde' colour is a chance for blondes to embrace some darker more natural shades. As we're coming out of lockdown everyone is after a new look. The 'undone blonde' colour job is the perfect balance of being able to try something new without it being permanent. To create this look I used Redken Shades Glosses to balance out the previously bleached ends and match them to Pixie's natural ends.'
