We've touched down in Italy’s style capital to bring you all of the best beauty looks from backstage (and eat an inordinate amount of pasta). Our favourite moments from day one...

**Smoky Does It **

‘I’m giving the girls a nutty brown, very matte and sculpted eye’, make-up pro Lynsey Alexander told us backstage at Just Cavalli. Forgoing mascara makes this eye less glam than Just Cavalli’s usual look, and lends an altogether tougher edge. The best part? All this was done with one product - MAC Paint Pot in Quite Natural, (£15.50).

Nail Decoration

It seems our current obsession with all things bronze and copper has extended to manicures, as we loved this metallic bronze glitter polish (MAC Lacquer in Tropical, £10.00) used at Just Cavalli.

**Festival Hair Inspiration **

Festival hair wasn’t even mentioned in the making of this beautiful ‘do at Costume National, but we can’t help but think that the feather accessory and messy chignon would be perfect for the likes of Coachella. All we need now is a ticket…

Prada’s 'New Elegance’

Hair master Guido Paulo conjured up an absolute showstopper at Prada. Just look at those bejewelled hair accessories (hand picked by Mrs Prada, no less). This is a modern take on couture hair that you can recreate yourself, armed with Redken Quick Dry 18 Instant Finishing Spray, (£10.40).

Moschino 360

We went backstage expecting a riot of colour and hair extensions to rival last season's Barbie inspired look; what we saw was the complete opposite. The AW15 Moschino girl was taken back to her roots, with the girl on the street being the primary inspiration. Cue easy, tousled movement all swept over to one side.
