This week's Liz Loves is coming live from the magical isle of Mustique. I've jetted out here to discover just what legendary brand John Frieda have in store for us this year.

Scrunch And Go

For anyone who can't be bothered with blow drying but really can't allow their hair to be left to its own devices, prepare to get scrunching. Hairstylist Kerry Warn is convinced that scrunch drying is going to make a massive comeback because of savvy new products like John Frieda Air Dry Waves that allow you to get the tousled effect without having to use a hairdryer. Simply scrunch into hair and leave to dry naturally. You heard it here first...

My First Gel Pedicure

Despite many a year as a beauty director somehow I've managed to never have a gel pedi. I know! In preparation for my trip to Mustique this week, I decided it was about time I did it. My local beauty salon, USA Nails in Berkhamsted sorted me out with an OPI gel colour in bold orange (Great for waking up a winter body!) and I could barely believe I was slipping back into my Uggs within minutes of the polish being applied. The Original Surf Spray Is Back

#beachblondeisback. Wondering why Sienna Miller's hair has been looking so beachy and blonde recently? Her colourist Nicola Clarke hinted that she 'may have' using the new and improved Beach Blonde Surf Spray on Ms Millers hot new boho bob. Discontinued in 2005 it's finally back, and well worth the wait. If only for the delicious coconut-y aroma... mmm.

New Mascara Discovery

For anyone in need of a smudge-proof, waterproof and totally humidity-proof mascara, I've got just the thing. After a recent shortage of my usual mascara I was forced to branch out and discover an alternative. Kevyn Aucoin The Curling Mascara goes on like a normal mascara but dries onto the lashes and forms a tube around them. Without hot water and steam, those lashes aren't budging which makes it the perfect product for hitting the beach, hitting the gym or even hitting the Bikram yoga studio...

Pack like a beauty editor

One of the best things about going away with a load of beauty editors is seeing what products they pack and how they pack their kit. One thing we all do is pack our beauty essentials into various different small bags to keep things clean, organized and easy to get to. Tanning in one, face care in another, hair in another and so on. Products that pop up in everyone's bathrooms include Sisley Sun Protection,Clinique Chubby Sticks, Liz Earle Makeup (the bronzer and tinted moisturiser are amazing). A Tangle Teezer is also a regular feature...
