Hot off the heels of the knockout Victoria's Secret show, Lily Aldridge stepped out with one heck of an enviable 'do this week in New York. A far cry from the voluminous, bouncing curls of the show, Lily was working an incredibly glossy, impeccably neat side plait that was giving us some serious hair envy.
There's a lot of ways to do a side braid (unfussy and loose for a boho edge, textured with fishtail braiding for a directional look, for example), and we love this sleek and polished version Ms Aldridge is giving us. There's the slightest hint of height at the crown, making the whole thing a little more 'done' without moving into pageant-queen territory. The braid itself is even and finishes neatly, but what's really getting us is the glossy texture of her hair. It looks so shiny and healthy - undoubtedly a testament to the vats of green juice we presume the Angels drink pre-show.
Still with her trademark soft smokey eye, glowing skin and a nude lip, Lily looks every since the supermodel she is. A perfect, easy look to partner a radiant complexion with. We'll have what she's having.
