It's official: Kim Sears is our new hair hero (hairo?). Andy Murray’s avid courtside supporter was crowned Best Tressed thanks to her luscious locks and bouncy blow dries that's keeping us highly entertained during the tennis tournament. But how can WE get the look? Grazia Daily took a trip down to our local House of Charles Worthington Salon for some top tips...

“It's quite normal for our clients to come in with a picture of a celebrity that they would like to emulate when havign their hair restyled, but we noticed a significant shift from women asking for Kate Middleton curls to the looser, more casual Kim Sears waves,” explained stylist supreme Sophie Clare Clare.

The secret behind Kim’s luscious locks? It’s natural thickness, apparently. Put simply, Andy Murray’s babe has a full-head of healthy looking hair that Wimbledon watchers are just gagging to achieve. “Women like to create something they don’t have,” says Sophie. “While Kate has a very ‘done’ look with bouncy curls, Kim’s hair is much more natural and even looks like it could have been slept on. Women feel this daytime look is more attainable and attractive.”

1. Blow dry with a big bristle brush

Want to know how to work Kim's undone chic? Of course you do. According to Sophie, who tackled the hair of Grazia Beauty Intern Chiara, the secret is in the brush. Brandishing the biggest barrel brush in the Charles Worthington tool kit, she explained that this particular blowout relies on the bounce that the big bristles create.

2. Curl with a curling iron

With locks about 70% dry – the magic percentage used by all Charles Worthington stylists – Sophie roughly curled sections of Chiara’s hair, before sealing it with a shot of cold air. Where K-Middy's hair stylist would use a smaller brush to form those perfectly rounded, cutesy curls in the lengths of the Duchess' hair, the Sears look requires body or a natural ‘bend’, as Sophie calls it. And while Chiara’s waves drop once released from the momentous brush, the point of a ‘Kim’ is to look groomed but undone.

3. Add volume by back brushing

'With a soft smoothing brush, gently back brush at the root to create a little more height on the crown area as well as extra movement,' says Sophie.

4. Add a spritz of oomph

Of course, there’s a magic ingredient in the creation of this look. Charles Worthington’s Full Volume Shampoo and Conditioner, £5.19 adds buckets of extra oompf, but it’s the Front Row Volume Blow Dry Spray, £6.29 that truly transports your mane from lifeless locks to full-on Sears sheen.

5. Hold in place with spray

But what about the casual-yet-perfect face-framing fronds at the front of Kim’s hair? "It is most probable that this is the natural consequence of her tucking the lock behind her ear," confirms our stylist. Fret not though, dear Sears fans. For those of us who have hair unwilling to co-operate, it's perfectly possible to tonge the front of your tresses into a natural looking bend. And the cheat’s guide to keeping those unruly strands in place? Charles Worthington’s Shine Maximum Hold Spray, £5.19. Hair mousse is like SO Kate Middleton, don't cha know?
