YouTuber Joe Sugg is known for a lot of things. Things like playing pranks on his housemates, having his housemates play pranks on him, generally being adorable and now, releasing his very own graphic novel called Username: Evie about a girl whose father makes a virtual world for her to escape into.
One thing he's never been able to add to his roster of talents though is make-up artistry. With sister Zoella cleaning up in that department, we thought it was about time that we gave her younger brother a chance to show off his skills by asking him to try and master that classic make-up look; the smoky eye.
Hmmm. Turns out this might have been a terrible idea. As you can see from the video, while Joe remained his normal charming self throughout you probably won’t see him trying his hand at any more beauty tutorials any time soon. After spending several minutes covering our lower eyelid in a generous amount of black eyeshadow, he dusted it gently with glitter to add an extra layer of madness to the already manic look he’d created. The end result gave the coffee lady in the Pret round the corner quite a shock on our walk back to the office.
In all fairness, last time we tried to do a smoky eye it actually turned out a whole lot worse than Joe’s, so maybe he does know what he's doing. We’ll give him a call next time we’re struggling with a cat eye. Thanks Joe!
