Jennifer Aniston Dishes On Her Best-Ever Hairstyles

Jennifer Aniston is queen of many things. Of little black dresses, of women who choose to go childless, of blockbuster romcoms and of course, of excellent hair. Whether it's styled in the enduringly popular 'Rachel', or just worn at its shiniest, healthiest best, Jen gives us hair envy on the regular. So, whenever she does deign to discuss it in interview, we're immediately all ears.

Talking to Fashionista, Jennifer dished on her current colour, "I’m not a trend person really. I kind of wait for the trends to go. Platinum blond? — unless it was a wig — no.", as well as her longtime stylist's (and partner in their haircare brand, Living Proof) affinity towards a pixie cut "Chris has that thing where he’s like Edward Scissorhands. He just sees hair and he wants to cut it. He would love for me to go... he wants to just cut it all off, kind of like a pixie, which I will never do." When pressed on why she wore her hair down rather than in a red carpet friendly updo, she said "I’m not an up-do kind of gal. I feel like if you’re wearing a gown with glitter, you want to have beachy, natural hair to kind of go against that. So that’s sort of my main thing, being me. Being comfortable." Attagirl.

Ms Aniston also had plenty to say on workout-hair, "A little sweat in the hair is nice. It’s like a little product. You just blow it out with your fingers and it’s actually just fun. " We're pretty reassured to hear this, as it makes us believe Jennifer's more of a normal girl, who works that whole day-old, gymmed-out ponytail, rather than having a whole team of stylists on speed dial to zhuzh up her hair. Oh, and the upshot of the whole interview? Living Proof are bringing out a new product called Night Cap, which is a light serum that's applied on dry hair before bed. You wake up with much more silky, manageable and shiny hair. Jennifer loves it and uses it regularly. No word on whether it will help you attract Hollywood's most eligible bachelors like Jen yet.
