Your friends are some of the most important people in your life, so it’s important to treat them once in a while. If you’re looking for inspiration, you can surprise your bestie with mini cupcakes at their work, bring dinner round after a rough week or organise a magnificent birthday scavenger hunt! A great friend is an impulsive one- so here’s how you can brighten up your mate’s day with 7 impulsive and inexpensive things thanks to Impulse.

**1. Host A Spa Day **

Get out all of your most luxurious oils, creams and pamper products. Gather your friends and treat each-other to some lavish manicures and facials. You can even make some facial masks with natural at-home ingredients. Try recipes with coconut oil, milk, oatmeal, yogurt, eggs or lemon. Your friends will really appreciate doing something fun, relaxing and not too costly. Don’t forget to make mimosas!

2. Send Presents To Their Work

Maybe your friend just went through a bad break-up or is having some family troubles. Show her you care and that you’re there for her no matter what by sending a little gift to be delivered at work. Write her a funny or heartfelt card and send some mini-cupcakes to give a much-needed boost to her day. Annnnnd, the Best Friend of The Year Award goes to you!

3. Have An Organisation Party

It’s more fun than it sounds. If you have a friend with a drastically overflowing wardrobe, offer to help out and get rid of the excess. Head over with a bottle of wine and some takeaway and help get her life sorted! You can bring a bunch of stuff you don’t want too, and have a trade off!

**4. Hold A Car Boot Sale **

Having a car boot sale with your friends is a great way to make some extra cash. You can serve fresh lemonade to your customers and get some sun while you’re out selling off your knick-knacks. You can also hit up other sales afterwards and score some funky trinkets with the moola you’ve made.

5. Open Mic Night

Take your BFF to an Open Mic Night and dress up as your favourite rock stars. Dedicate a song to your bestie, or better yet- yank her up on stage with you to belt out your fav jam, (and the tribute song to all great mates)- the F.R.I.E.N.D.S theme- “I’ll be there for you.”

**6. Surprise Them With Dinner After A Rough Day **

Is your best friend getting hounded at work? Surprise them after they’ve had an awful day by bringing drinks and pizza ingredients to their door. You can talk it out with her as you’re cooking, and she’ll really appreciate you making the effort to cheer her up.

**7. Birthday Scavenger Hunt! **

There’s nothing like an impulsive birthday bash. If it’s your BFF’s b-day and you want to host a party like no other, put your friends to the test and arrange a Scavenger Hunt. The hunt can include significant moments/places in your friend’s life- like where they had their first kiss. Your friends will have to know your BFF well, to get to the end!
