AW16 beauty catwalks were all about a mish-mash of creations. With Dior’s chocker hair tucked into neck scarves, to Jil Sander’s fierce wet-look ponytails, Oscar de Renta’s understated hair to Marc Jacobs dramatic modern goth hair.
To get you set for SS16 we’ve teamed up with luxury styling product brand Bardou, so you can achieve the ultimate catwalk looks at home.

Nape of the neck hair
Different forms of the simple, feminine ponytails stapled the catwalks. With Boss’s no-effort looped, Victoria Beckham’s modern slightly wet look and Roksanda’s doubled wrapped ribbon ponytail. For a slightly different take on the nape look, Christian Dior’s double chignon was a hit – a deep side parting worn with two sleek knots.
To get the look, tie hair with a plastic elastic at the nape of the neck keeping your ponytail or chignons long and low. Banish any fly aways with Bardou Finishing Mist lightweight hairspray ensuring locks still look naturally sleek.
Rebellious Hair
Sibling set the 'don’t mess me with me' hair. The opposite version of the ‘out of bed’ look - worn up instead of down. Start with dishevelled hair. Spray with Bardou Salt Spray, starting from the top of your hair, working your way down. This will result in the perfect amount of texture and volume to be able to twist the hair up, bringing the ends to the front side of your face. Pin hair at the back to secure and use fingers or a back comb to create a wild side fringe.
Volumised hair
Inspired by Diane Von Furstenberg 70’s Studio 54 look, models including Kendall Jenner rocked “The Diane” on this season’s catwalk.
To celebrate this va va voom look, spray Bardou Amplifying Mist on to damp hair. Make little hair buns throughout your hair, pin to the head. After hair-drying each twisted bun, unravel and brush out each waves with a soft bristle brush to create soft volume.
Free loving hair
Washed hair looks its very best the day after, especially if you want to mimic the Versace hippy hair. Demonstrate this trend by waking up. Don’t touch that hairbrush! Instead spray bed hair with Bardou Immaculate dry shampoo spray to freshen and texturise hair. Add a band or a jumbo scarf as seen on H&M models to your hair. Start practising now before the festival season starts.
