In general, sheet masks are a wonderful thing: they're easy-to-use and can work wonders for your skin - but now we've discovered that sheet masks now come in the form of emojis. And we're really not sure how we feel.

Yes, emoji sheet masks exist, and they're terrifying. Taiwan-based brand Petite Amie Skincare is the mastermind behind this bizarre beauty product, which is available an array of designs - including the crying with laughter emoji, blushing emoji and love heart face emoji. Essentially, these masks will turn you into a real life cartoon character - creepy AF.

Even more interesting is the fact that each emoji mask design has a matching skincare benefit. For example, the angry face emoji mask (dubbed the 'Cooling Masque') aims to reduce redness and calm agitated skin.

Meanwhile, the emoji with sunglasses on (or the 'Chilling Masque'), is packed with cucumber and aloe vera ingredients that will help to chill your skin. Genius, or just plain weird? We can't decide.

Currently, these sheet masks aren't available in the UK, but don't fret, because loads of other brands have whipped up similar designed masks.

If you ask us, these emoji sheet masks are more proof that the internet has changed and shaped the beauty industry. Who would have thought that emojis would be inspiration for skincare? Not us, that's for sure.
