Of course, when the topic of hairdryers comes up, which granted isn’t that often, it’s impossible not to mention the game-changing Dyson Supersonic. Not only did its launch disrupt the whole category but it taught us we could demand and expect more from this tool. It’s lighter, it’s quieter and speedier (not to mention more expensive) than it’s competition. Not to be greedy, but it’s been a long time since there’s been an innovation in this field, which is why we couldn’t be more ecstatic about the news that Dyson is soon to release a new hairdryer.

Called the Dyson Supersonic Hairdryer Professional Edition, it’s, for the most part, the same but with a few upgrades. The tweaks include a longer cord, a magnetic removable and washable filter and the concentrator attachment is now wider and thinner for more precision.

Stylists have been using this model for a while, but now come April 28th it will be available for purchase - mind only in the US. However, as Dyson is a British brand we predict it’s only a matter of time before it makes its way across the Atlantic.
