Wanting to #treatyoself but don’t have a spa day budget? Do you know you may just have the ingredients for a luscious body scrub lurking in the back of your kitchen cupboard? Or if not, that you can make one yourself on the super cheap. This scrub is great for a pre tan exfoliating sesh, and works perfectly as a pre-shaving pamper.

You’ll need

The juice of 3 Lemons

The rind of 1 Lemon

500g Brown Demerara Sugar[

A large storage jar [

50 ml Johnstons Baby Oil

What To Do

Cut your lemons in half and juice, discard any pips or pulp. Using a cheese grater, grate the rind from a lemon, and add all of this to your jar.

Pour in 50ml of Johnstons Baby Oil* for super softness (We got a 200ml bottle from Poundland - told you this was beauty on a budget!)

Pour in 500g of Demerara sugar, and mix.

You’re done! A brand new body scrub made by yours truly in no time at all. You domestic goddess, you!

*The baby oil will make skin feel glorious – but it does make a shower a bit slippy, careful!
