Another day, another A List chop. This time it's none other than supermodel, TV presenter and all-around smiley happy girl, Chrissy Teigan who's said bye-bye to her lengths. Debuting a new, shoulder-skimming 'do at the Billboard Music Awards, Chrissy was seriously working those mid lengths. Of course, long bobs (or lobs to us insiders) are the cut du jour, with everyone from Taylor Swift to Rosie Huntington Whiteley plumping for the do, but we love the spin that Chrissy's put on it. With her naturally textured curls, Chrissy's hair looks full, voluminous and effortlessly gorgeous.
Also, with streaks of honey blonde popping through Chrissy's tresses, this is a perfect, beachy spin on the style and Chrissy has totally nailed it. Of course, we always think of Chrissy living permanently in a bikini on some hot tropical beach (that many Sports Illustrated covers will do that to a gal) so this fuss-free twist on the trend suits her down to a tee. Plus, it proves there's a long bob for every face shape, as Chrissy's rounder face carries off the style expertly.
Other lob converts of recent times include: Brooklyn Decker, Selena Gomez, Lauren Conrad, Sienna Miller, Rosamund Pike, Jourdan Dunn and Nicole Richie (and exhale.) This means there really is no sign of the style slowing down. When chatting to Roi at George Northwood earlier this year, he said he'd cut 'more long bobs than I could possibly count.' With the lob here to stay, the George and co have opened a 'Bob Bar' in-salon where you can try on wigs of different length and style bobs before braving the chop. The Bob Bar has four styles to choose from, including short and sharp to longer and more tousled - plus, as George was the man behind Rosie Huntington Whiteley's chop, you know you're in good hands. There's never been a better time to brave the chop - as George says, "we are all a bob away from brilliance". See more lobs in the gallery below...
