Cheryl Fernandez Versini is the latest star to jump on the short hair bandwagon! Debuting her new chop on Instagram (obvs), Cheryl's cut is shorter than those of her peers (like Tyalor Swift and Karlie Kloss) but still has a very trend-led edge, thanks to it's new hue and blunt finish. The man responsible for her chop was none other than Paul Percival, of Percy & Reed fame, who also took her back to a more cherry-red tone. (L'Oreal's Casting Creme Gloss Berry Red 565, to be exact.)

Now, this sparked a bit of a discussion in Grazia Daily offices about our favourite-ever Cheryl hairstyles. She's famed for her lovely locks, and was the name every twentysomething woman gave their hairdresser when asked what they wanted for most of the noughties. We mainly recalled her deep red and brunette shades, but a quick trip down memory lane reminded us that she's actually worked quite a few looks.

Blonde? Yep. Bobs? Yes. Cornrows? Er, also yes. You name it, she's tried it, whether it's poker straight or bouncing curls, our girrl Cheryl has had a pop. In celebration of her bravery throughout the years, and her new style, allow us to present Cheryl's hairvolution in the gallery below...

Cheryl can pull off any length, but we especially like this face-framing bob. Super cute and super glossy, this is a really chic look for Ms Fernandez Versini

Cheryl looks every inch the Grecian goddess with this golden look. Sleek, long blonde lengths and plenty of polished shine is a winning combo.

Working a deep side part and lighter locks, this a great summery look from Cheryl. Who knew she'd make such a fabulous blonde?

This is an unusually undone look from Cheryl. Instead of her usual hyper-polished vibe, Cheryl went soft, beachy waves. We kind of love it.

There's definitely a 60s vibe going on here. Some height at the crown and some define curls make for a screen-siren look.

That is one power bun. We love the super-sleek twist Cheryl's put on a classic style with her swept-back 'do.

Working a centre part, Cheryl shows us there's no style she can't pull off. Top marks for the slightly auburn tone, too.

Adding some serious drama with this evening look, Cheryl is working this updo. It has the added bonus of making her cheekbones look incredible, too.

A piecey, casual updo looks cute on Cheryl. We like those unfussy strands falling free and the undone vibe.

Cheryl makes an excellent blonde bombshell. Her tumbling locks are the perfect shade of honey blonde for her skin - we're into it.
