Stop press! Too-cool-for-school model/actress Cara Delevingne was yesterday spotted working a cool, albeit fairly small and entry-level version of the undercut courtside at the Los Angeles Clippers basketball game with pals Kendall Jenner and Khloe Kardashian.

The undercut first caught our attention way back in 2008 when Alice Dellal paired the ‘do with a generous application of black eyeliner, ripped fishnets and Dr. Martins. Since then faux versions of the style have popped up on the catwalk at Gucci while stars like Rosario Dawson and Miley Cyrus have all go their razors out to trial the style.

We have to say that we aren’t actually surprised at Cara D’s willing to work this one – she is known to be a fan of a quirky trend or three - but don’t you reckon she carries it off rather well? There was a time not long ago when a model shaving part of her head would have abruptly ended her career, but these days it's a different story - or perhaps it just Cara who manages to make sure her rebellions, like her many tattoos, are so well received by designers worldwide? Take, for example, her most recent Chanel campaign where her etching on the back of her neck was clearly visible.

That said big models are increasingly booked for their personalities, presence and social media following (just saying) so maybe Cara’s cut will lead to even more campaigns and bookings - if she can find time in her schedule now she's Hollywood's new darling of course. Could Cara’s new beauty look spell a resurgence of the undercut? Would you be brave enough to give it a go? Watch this space...
