The Beauty Products To Look Out For In 2016

New beauty products launch all the time, it’s true. If we were to write you a comprehensive guide to all of the new launches in 2016, it would be 2018 by the time we were done. In other words: it would be illogical and unhelpful.

Instead, we’ve picked out six beauty bits to keep an eye out for this year which are all pretty special in their own way.

Benefit

Benefit POREfessional Matte Rescue, £21.50, Boots.com

This is Benefit's newest addition to their POREfessional range: a water-based gel formula moisturiser, launching in store and online on 30 January. Use this before the POREfessional primer to help absorb excess oil, leaving skin matte but natural looking – particularly good if your skin is on the oily side. It even contains diamond powder for a soft-focus, airbrushed effect.

bareMinerals bareSkin Complete Coverage Serum Concealer, £22, Boots.com

This is a brilliant 2-in-1 product: not only does it give top coverage and brighten the undereye, it contains antioxidant Lilac Plant Stem Cells which help protect against ageing and humectants to keep the area hydrated. The serum-like texture means it goes on like an absolute dream as well.

L’Oreal Infallible Fixing Mist, £7.99 for 100ml, Boots.com

When L’Oreal released this in the US it got rave reviews; so much so that they were practically forced to release it in the UK (despite no initial plans to) and now here it is in all it's glory. Apply it at the start of the day or before a night out to lock your make-up in place and you won’t have to worry about panda eyes or foundation sliding. Just make sure you give it a good shake before you spritz.

Real Techniques Brush Cleansing Palette, £12.99, Boots.com

Anything that makes cleaning make-up brushes easier is a winner in our eyes which is why we're into this unique brush cleansing palette. The different textures are designed to work with different sized brushes to ensure a deep clean, plus it claims to help clean brushes 55% better than other brush cleaners. This product launches online 7 March.

Revlon Ultimate All-In-One Mascara, £9.99, Boots.com

This doesn’t look like your ordinary mascara. Probably because it’s not. The unusual oval-shaped brush gives volume, length, definition, lift and intense colour all in one go whilst the hole in the middle is designed to maximise the amount of formula that goes onto the lashes. In other words, this is the only mascara you’ll ever need. Probably. If you're quick you can grab this online for £6.99. The offer ends 16 February, subject to availability.

YSL Touche Éclat Le Teint Foundation, £32.50, Boots.com

If you were a fan of this foundation before, now you’ll love it even more. Not only is it now available in 22 shades, the new formula gives more coverage without compromising it's characteristic lightweight feel and the anti-fatigue complex and light-reflective properties get rid of dullness. You can buy it from 1 Feb.

Even better, right now you can be colour matched at a Boots YSL counter and receive a seven day free trial of it to check if you like it (which you almost certainly will) before it officially launches.

Treat yourself! Order at boots.com or in-store today by 8pm and collect free from 12pm tomorrow at a store near you.

See boots.com/ordertodaycollecttomorrow. Monday – Saturday. Geographical exclusions apply. Subject to availability.
