It's only Tuesday, but Aldi are already having a very good week. Yesterday, Which? revealed that the chain had dethroned Waitrose as the UK's favourite supermarket. And now, people can't stop talking about its budget skincare.
Specifically, the hype is centred on its Lacura Charcoal Mud Mask which, as the shrewd team at Her have spotted, bears a striking resemblance to GlamGlow's SuperMud clearing treatment. Unlike Glamglow's product, which comes in at a hefty £42, however, Aldi's version is £5.99
Aldi's mud mask promises to 'minimise pores' and 'reduce the appearance of imperfections'. Featuring 'glycolic acids' to 'remove dead skin cells and gently exfoliate skin', as well as 'clay & charcoal powder' and 'extracts of coconut, bamboo & eucalyptus oil', it has all the impressive-sounding ingredients you might expect from a high-end skincare product, but at a much more affordable price (82% cheaper, to be precise).
Aldi's mask has already sold out online, but you can still get your hands on one at an Aldi supermarket near you.
